Also, every now and then, Mozilla Firefox slows down to a crawl and my processor starts running to full capacity. No threats have been found with any of these but I still think there's something going on here.
I've scanned with said anti-virus, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware free edition, Super AntiSpyware free edition, Panda Anti-Rootkit, a free antivirus from Panda, and Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool. This process repeats itself a few times a day. I click a button that says "fix" but it says it can't fix all the problems. Starting a couple of days ago, my antivirus (McAfee free version from comcast) has been alerting me saying it needs to be fixed.
